The User warrants that they will not:
(a) select or use as a username the name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person;
(b) use as a username a name subject to the Intellectual Property Rights of third parties without appropriate permission;
(c) use as a username a name that we reasonably consider offensive, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise contrary to the law, good faith, ethics, or morality.

This means you are responsible for keeping your Account data secure and must notify us of any unauthorized use of your Account. When registering, you agree to use a username that you have the right to use and that does not infringe the rights of third parties.
We may refuse to register an Account, or delete or block a User's Account, at our sole discretion and for any reason (including, without limitation, upon receiving demands or claims from third parties or competent authorities that User Content violates applicable law and/or the rights of third parties, or if we believe the User has breached the Agreement or applicable law).
We may block any Account that appears suspicious to us and request that the User provide evidence of their good faith. In that case, the Account may be unblocked only after sufficient evidence of the User's good faith has been provided and thoroughly verified.

We do not pre-screen User Content and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, integrity, truthfulness, legality, or quality of User Content. We are not responsible if Content provided by Users on the mave Platform, on or through our Services, contains inaccurate, unlawful, incomplete, false, offensive, obscene, explicit, or objectionable material. If User Content contains explicit content (including, without limitation, profanity), the User must indicate this in the podcast settings when creating the Podcast, or in the Podcast settings under "Settings" when using the Service. The User understands, accepts, and agrees to the risks associated with placing explicit content and is solely responsible for doing so.
The User acknowledges and bears all risks associated with the use or consumption of any User Content available through the Services, including where placing or using such Content violates applicable law and/or the rights of third parties. The User agrees that we may establish general rules and limits regarding the use of the Services, including, without limitation, the maximum period for which User Content will be stored in the Services and/or on our servers. The User agrees that we are not liable for the deletion of, or failure to store, any User Content maintained or uploaded using the Services.
We may delete or block any User Content at our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason (including, without limitation, upon receiving demands or claims from third parties or competent authorities that User Content violates applicable law and/or the rights of third parties, or if we believe the User has breached the Agreement or applicable law).
Communications with the User. By registering an Account, the User agrees to receive messages from us at the email address provided during registration.
Such messages may be needed to confirm registration or to service or maintain the Account, may be required by law, or may be sent to the User for informational, promotional, or other purposes. The User may opt out of informational, promotional, or other non-essential messages by changing the relevant settings in their Account under "Manage subscription" or by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the email itself.
The User may opt out of messages that may be required by law and messages needed to confirm registration or to service or maintain the Account by sending us a notice stating their full name, username, and email address. However, if the User opts out in this way, we may terminate the User's right to use the Services.

If the User creates User Content with one or more co-authors, the User warrants that each such co-author has either (a) an account and has agreed to this Agreement, or (b) granted the User all rights necessary to place the User Content on the mave Platform and to grant us a license in accordance with the Agreement.
By uploading User Content through our Services on the mave Platform, the User grants us, free of charge, a simple (non-exclusive) license to use the Content placed on or through the mave Platform in the following ways: reproduction (copying), modification (for example, resizing photos and/or changing the format of an audiovisual file as described in the Agreement), transmission, making available to the public, and distribution of such Content.
You agree that this license includes, without limitation, mave's right to promote and improve the Services. We may also use this license to store Content in server memory and to provide User Content to other parties for distribution, transmission, publication, and making such User Content available to the public on third-party resources on the internet.
The license is granted worldwide for the period during which the Content is placed in our Services and for 48 hours after the relevant User Content is deleted.

The User understands and agrees that we are not obliged to review or monitor User Content or any other information placed and/or distributed by the User through the Services for compliance with the law, and that we have the right (but not the obligation), at our discretion, to refuse to let the User place and/or distribute Content or other information, or to remove any Content or information available through the Services, as set out in this Agreement.

The User agrees that the User's sole and exclusive remedy for any claim or dissatisfaction arising from the use of the Services is to stop using the Services. The User agrees that we have no obligation or liability arising from third-party services provided through or in connection with the use of the Service.

The User accepts, acknowledges, and agrees that any disputes between the User and us shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah and resolved by the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Nothing in this section deprives a User who is a consumer of any mandatory protection under the laws of their country of residence.
